ஹைடி பூகம்பம் - நமக்கு தரும் படிப்பினை .

பூகம்பத்தினால் அழிந்த நாடு - ஹைடி . ஒரு கோடி மக்கள் வாழும் நாட்டில் கிட்டத்தட்ட ஐம்பது லக்ஷம் பேர் வீட்டை இழந்து உள்ளார்கள் என்றால் , ஒரு லக்ஷம் பேர் பூகம்பத்தினால் இறந்துள்ளார்கள் என்றால் நாடே அழிந்தது என்பது தானே உண்மை.

இப்படியும் ஒரு நாடு இருந்ததா என்று நாம் வியக்க அல்லது வேதனை பட வைக்கின்றது.

எய்ட்ஸ் இனால் பாதிக்கப்பட்ட இருபது சதவீத மக்கள் , மலேரியா டெங்கு போன்ற கொள்ளை நோய்கள்ளுக்கு கொத்து கொத்தாக செத்த மக்கள், அரசியல் நிலைபாடில்லாமல் சதா உள்நாட்டு குழு சண்டையில் உழன்ற ஒரு நாடு நமது சென்னையில் பாதி மக்கள் தொகையை கொண்ட மக்கள் இப்போது இயற்கையினால் முழுதும் உருக்குலைந்து அழிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
